The aim and purpose of Cheshire Youth United is to bring together uniformed youth organisations to share good practice, experiences, resources and opportunities for the good of the young people they serve. Cheshire Youth United works to develop and deliver, with partners, a co-ordinated programme of activities that will enable young people to achieve their full potential and enhance their employability.

This statement is broken down into three linked tasks:

  1. Act as a catalyst in order for the uniformed organisations at all levels to work together for mutual benefit.
  2. To help the uniformed youth organisations in Cheshire to develop and expand to accommodate need and reach.
  3. Establish an employability service and programme for members of uniformed youth organisations that will connect prospective young employees with businesses.

Cheshire Youth United consists of nine uniformed youth organisations operating in Cheshire:

Yth Fed LogoCheshire Youth United is a branch of Youth Federation. Youth Federation is a charity that supports over 600 youth organisations across Cheshire, Halton, Warrington and Wirral. It offers full support to youth organisations by offering advice, training and funding support to help make an open youth provision sustainable and effective. The Youth Federation also provides National Citizenship Service delivery and targeted education support via vulnerable young people.
